'I'll Stick Around' is about Courtney Love

It took Dave Grohl 15 years to come out and say it, but the imagery was in mind when the video was made to show it was in face about Love.

"I'll Stick Around" was the second single from Foo Fighters' debut album Foo Fighters. It was one of the first songs Dave Grohl wrote after Kurt Cobain's death about Courtney Love. Though he didn't admit it was actually about Love until many years later. The original video idea featured a blonde bloated and charred inflatable doll floating at them representing Love, but was replaced by the image of the HIV virus.

The song made it to #8 on the Alternative Songs chart and #12 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
