Cold Kingdom was the featured band today for The Artist Spotlight. The band released their debut album, "Into The Black Sky" in May of this year.
Last week I had the chance to speak with Elissa, the lead singer of Cold Kingdom." She joined the band less than two years ago so "Into The Black Sky" was her first album with the band.
The featured song "A New Disaster" was the first song she gravitated to on the album. Elissa said the song is about going into a new situation and not knowing what would happen which is what she and the band went through. However, in the end everything works out.
