Terry's 3-some @ 3 - A Seething 3-Some

Every weekday at 3pm, I play 3 songs in a row by a single band, or based on a single theme.

South Africa's finest are back for another 3-Some.

Let's do 3 from Seether.

SONG 1:  "Country Song"

Seether's "Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray" album, on which this song is found, was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, where much of modern country music is churned out.  The title is more than appropriate.

SONG 2:  "Seether"

Coming off of Seether's "Seether: 2002-2013" greatest hits collection, "Seether" is a cover of the  Veruca Salt song from which the band scored their name.

In other news, Veruca Salt's Louise Post & Nina Gordon?  RAWR.

SONG 3:  "Same Damn Life"

The riff for this song is more than a little similar to  "I Will Follow Him" by Little Peggy March .

Very fitting that the setting for the video for this song happens in a place where people who heard Ms. March's song back in the day reside.
