UNDATED (MetroSource-WSAU) - No new date is set for outgoing House Speaker Paul Ryan's farewell address. Ryan postponed the speech due to the state funeral for former President George H.W. Bush.Ryan had scheduled his address for the Library of Congress on Wednesday afternoon.

Ryan has already said his two biggest regrets were not passing comprehensive immigration reform and not lowering the federal deficit.

He surprised many people when he announced that he would retire from Congress at year's end. The 48-year-old Wisconsin Republican has been Speaker since 2015. He was first election to Congress in 1998.
