MADISON, Wi (WSAU) It was a busy Friday for Wisconsin athletic teams. Here are the results:

The Wisconsin mens basketball team dropped the championship game of the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas 53-46 to #4 ranked Virginia. The Badgers outscored Virginia in the second half but couldn't overcome a poor first half.

Ethan Happ had 22 points to lead Wisconsin who dropped to 5-1 on the season. They will host North Carolina State on Tuesday as part of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

 

 

The Wisconsin womens basketball team used a 4th quarter rally to beat Pitt 57-42 in Nashville. The Badgers rallied to tie the game at the end of the 3rd quarter and outscored the Panthers 23-8 to finish the game.

Imani Lewis led Wisconsin with 18 points and six rebounds. Alex Luehring added 10 points. Marsha Howard had 14 rebounds as the Badgers led in that category 46-33.

Wisconsin is now 5-0 for the first time since 2006. They take on Tennessee State tonight.

 

 

The Wisconsin womens hockey team beat Harvard 3-2 in overtime on Friday night at LaBahn Arena. Annie Pankowski scored two goals including the game-winner with just under two minutes remaining in the OT. 

Presley Norby had the other Badger goal. Kristen Campbell had 14 saves.

The #1 ranked Badgers, now 14-1, will host Harvard again tonight at 7.

 

 

The Wisconsin mens hockey team skated to a 1-1 tie with #14 rabked Michigan on Friday night in Ann Arbor.

The two teams did skate a 3-3 matchup after the OT and Michigan scored to walk away with an extra point.

Freshman Mick Messner had the Badger goal. Jack Berry had 37 saves. Wisconsin, now 5-7-1, will play Michigan again tonight.

 

 

The Wisconsin football team will finish the regular season today as the host Minnesota today at Camp Randall in the annual battle for Paul Bunyan's Ax. Pre game show is at 12:30 on WSAU.
