Alice in Chains has announced a new film project to accompany the band's Grammy-nominated album, Rainier Fog .

The 90-minute sci-fi movie, titled Black Antenna , will premiere in 10 parts starting early 2019. Each part will accompany a song from Rainier Fog . You can watch a trailer for the project now on YouTube .

"We've always toyed with the idea of creating videos for every song on one of our albums," says drummer Sean Kinney . "Not only did we do that for Rainier Fog , it got totally out of hand and we made a whole g****** movie."

"I'm a longtime fan of the band," adds director Adam Mason . "And this was an opportunity to do something fresh and inspiring from an indie filmmaking side. The sound and vision between album and film are closely intertwined -- it was a brilliant synergy that led to a really unique project."

Rainier Fog , which features the singles "The One You Know" and "Never Fade," is nominated for Best Rock Album at the 61st annual Grammy Awards, held February 10 in Los Angeles.
