APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) - Just hours left until Election Day.

Candidates have been hitting the pavement to sway voters.

That includes the candidates for governor, Tony Evers, and Gov. Scott Walker.

Both candidates for Governor made stops around the state over the weekend.

Tony Evers was in Green Bay and Appleton Saturday.

"Mandela Barnes and I are going all across the state, along with Democrats that we're hooking up with at different places. And we're talking positively about the future of Wisconsin. We have to. And when we do, and we get people out to vote we're gonna win. It's as simple as that."

Walker made stops in Hudson and Kenosha, getting some help from Vice President Mike Pence at the Hudson stop.

The vice president supported Governor Walker and Republican Candidate for the Senate, Leah Vukmir.

"The people of Wisconsin, they're going with this governor's leadership, and with Leah Vukmir in the Senate, we're gonna continue to lower the cost of health insurance, without growing the size of government, and Scott Walker and Leah Vukmir will always protect Americans with pre-existing conditions."

He encouraged voters to bring their excitement to the polls. The polls open at 7 a. m. Tuesday morning.
