WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) -- A 92-year-old man is dead after being struck by a car in Wausau.
Wausau PD says the man was stuck by a car at the intersection of North 6th Street and Park Avenue around 7pm Wednesday. The man was rushed to Aspirus Wausau Hospital where he died from his injuries.
Police say the driver called 911 and has been cooperating with the investigation. An accident reconstruction team is assisting. Police are asking anyone who saw the accident to call them at 715-261-7986.
The names of the victim and the driver have not been released.
