RHINELANDER, WI (WSAU) -- A judge has decided there is enough evidence to move forward with the trial of a Rhinelander man who shot his neighbor's dog.

Andrew Bozicevich, age 49, appeared in court today in Oneida County facing two felony charges and a misdemeanor. He's charged with felonies possession of a firearm and bail jumping and a misdemeanor of intentionally mistreating animals.

According to police Bozicevich thought the dog's owner stole his boat motor. To get back at the owner, he took the dog and shot it with a 9mm pistol last September. He is a convicted felon and is not allowed to own firearms.

Bozicevich will be back in court for his arraignment on December 10th.
