Whether or not Tool will actually release their new album in 2019 remains to be seen, but here's something they'll definitely be doing next year: touring Europe.

Maynard James Keenan and company have announced a summer European outing, marking their first scheduled tour dates in 2019. The run kicks off June 2 in Berlin, Germany, and will hit the U.K., Italy, Austria, Spain and Poland, among others. Visit ToolBand.com for ticket info.

As for that album, the much-anticipated follow-up to 2006's 10,000 Days , news of its progress remains elusive. However, Keenan tweeted in September that, while the band has a "long way [to] go," they are "much closer" to finishing the album. He also added the hashtag #2019, suggesting that the album may finally see the light of day next year.

In related news, Keenan is currently on tour with his band A Perfect Circle , and during a stop in West Valley City, Utah over the weekend, he suspended the band's long-held no-photo policy. When APC reached the final song of the night, Keenan announced that fans could take out their cell phones to take pictures and record. Footage from the performance was posted to social media .
