The Antichrist Superstar is teaming up with the King of Horror.
Marilyn Manson has revealed that he has a role in the upcoming TV adaptation of Stephen King 's landmark 1978 novel, The Stand . He shared the news in an interview with Revolver , adding that he's also recorded a cover of "The End" by The Doors for the series.
The Doors cover was recorded in collaboration with country artist Shooter Jennings , who's also working with Manson on the rocker's new album.
The Stand will air as a 10-part miniseries on CBS All Access.
Manson, meanwhile, also has a part in HBO's upcoming The Young Pope follow-up series, The New Pope.
