Bad Wolves are proving that they don't need a cover song to top the charts.

The metal band's single "Remember When" has reached number one on Billboard 's Mainstream Rock Songs chart. Bad Wolves already led the tally once with their viral cover of The Cranberries ' "Zombie," but "Remember When" is their first original tune to achieve that feat.

"We're grateful this song dealing with such an important message is being heard by so many," Bad Wolves say of "Remember When." "You are not alone."

Both "Remember When" and the "Zombie" cover appear on Bad Wolves 2018 debut album, Disobey . The band's sophomore follow-up is forthcoming.

Meanwhile, you can catch Bad Wolves touring the U.S. this summer with Papa Roach and Asking Alexandria .
