WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) -- The jury trial for a Wausau man has been suspended indefinitely.

Lee Franck was originally scheduled for a jury trial on May 27th. Due to a Wisconsin Supreme Court order filed on March 22nd, during the COVID-19 public health emergency all jury trials need to be rescheduled. No date has been set for Franck's adjourned trial.

Franck is accused of beating 77-year-old Lyle Leith to death in February of 2018. Leith was Franck's ex-girlfriend's father and the two got into a fight days before Leith's death. Franck is facing charges of 1st-degree intentional homicide, and two counts of disorderly conduct as a domestic abuse repeater.

Franck is scheduled to appear in court for a calendar call on May 14th.
