MILWAUKEE, Wi (WSAU) The Milwaukee Bucks made a trade on Friday that adds a couple of veteran players to their rotation.

Milwaukee received George Hill from Cleveland and Jason Smith from Washington. The Bucks sent Matthew Dellavedova and John Henson to Cleveland along with their first and second round picks in 2021 to Cleveland for Hill and Sam Dekker. They then sent Dekker to the Wizards for Smith and a 2nd round pick.

Hill is averaging 10.8 points and 2.8 assists for the Cavs. Smith, a seven footer, was a first round pick in 2007. He is averaging 4.8 points and 2.9 rebounds for the Wizards.

The deal also frees up some cap space for the Bucks heading into next season. The draft picks that Milwaukee will send to Cleveland are protected.
