MADISON, WI (WSAU) -- Three Madison taxi drivers were robbed this weekend, prompting one cab company to suspend services until further notice.
The Wisconsin State Journal reports that three men robbed a cab driver at gunpoint early Friday morning, then approximately 24 hours later three men robbed another cab by pointing something at the driver's neck.
The third incident happened Sunday night at around 8 when a driver was struck in the head with an object by a single person, who then stole the vehicle.
It's unknown if the three incidents are related.
According to a Facebook post by Green Cab, all drivers were pulled off the roads at about 10:30 Saturday night "for the safety of our drivers and customers." All Sunday rides and services were canceled while company leaders held meetings to discuss their next actions.
It remains unclear if Green Cab will operate on Monday.
