Packers Go For Offense On Day Two of Draft

NASHVILLE, Tenn (WSAU) The Green Bay Packers went offense on Day two of the NFL draft in Nashville. They selected guard-center Elgton Jenkins out of Mississippi State with the 44th pick and then took tight end Jace Sternberger out of Texas A & M with the 75th pick.

Both players are expected to be projects and will not start immediatly. Sternberger did catch 48 passes for 832 yards and ten TD's in his senior season with the Aggies after transferring from Kansas.

Jenkins will be moving from center to guard for the Packers, a position he hasn't played since his sophomore season.

The draft will finish up today.The Packers have four picks remaining in rounds five, six & seven.
