90s at 9 Madonna Inspired This Rock Song

Faith No More frontman, Mike Patton, has said the song "Midlife Crisis: is "kind of about Madonna." He explained: "I think it was a particular time where I was being bombarded with her image on TV and in magazines and her whole schtick kind of speaks to me in that way. Like she's going through some sort of problem. It seems she's getting a bit desperate." The song was actually given the working title "Madonna"

The song was released May 26, 1992 as the first single from their fourth studio album, Angel Dust. It was a number 1 hit on the U.S. Billboard Alternative Songs chart.

Disturbed covered "Midlife Crisis" twice. Once was for a Faith No More tribute album the other was a B-side to their fourth studio album Indestructible.
