Fall Fashion Trends

Leopard print to trench coats what is your favorite fall fashion trend?

I am so ready for Fall. I am loving the trends for Fall 2019. Which of these are you most excited about?

  1. Flared jeans are back! These may not be the go to style for all body types, but if you're an inverted triangle shape this style adds balance to your figure. This style jean also works on hourglass and apple figures. Photo  courtesy of Bria Bella & Co., Stevens Point, WI.

  2. Animal prints. Show off your wild side with a leopard or snake print. Accent your wardrobe with an animal print belt or shoe. Step up your monochromatic look with a leopard print cardigan or snake skin print pant. I am loving this look and can't wait to rock my vegan snake print shoes.

  3. Florals are in this fall. You can't go wrong with a flirty floral print dress, shirt, skirt or kimono. Feminine prints and romantic styles are all the rage. Photo courtesy of Bria Bella & Co., Stevens Point, WI.

  4. Trench coats. Embrace your inner Dick Tracy or Carmen Sandiego with a belted trench coat. In any color this is a flattering trend we can all get behind.

  5.  Sweater dresses are a Fall trend that can work for anyone. There are so many different styles and fits for sweater dresses so anyone can rock one. Whether you're an hourglass that wants a body con fit or an athletic rectangle shape that wants a more relaxed fit you're sure to find one that works for you.  Photo courtesy of Bria Bella & Co., Stevens Point, WI.

  6. Slouchy sweaters. You can't go wrong with a slouchy sweater this Fall. Hourglass and pear shaped gals a cropped version with high waisted jeans is right up your ally to highlight the smallest part of your body. Rectangle ladies a thinner oversized sweater french tucked into your jeans is a great look. Apple ladies opt for a slouchy long cardigan.

  7. Fall is a time to shine, shine, shine! Whether it's with sequins or metallics you can't go wrong with a little shine in your wardrobe. Accent your outfit or go full on! Photo courtesy of Bria Bella & Co., Stevens Point, WI.

  8. Plaid is a Fall staple. You can't go wrong with a flannel, but don't forget you can rock plaid in skirts, jackets, and dresses too.

  9. Leather never goes out of style does it? Well this fall rocking leather or vegan leather head to toe is a thing. So channel your inner rock star and wear those leather pants and throw on your leather jacket with it and you're totally on trend. I think I'll stick to one leather piece at a time, but you do you.

The most important thing to remember when it comes to fashion is that it's all about fun and expressing yourself. Rock whatever makes you feel confident and show the world YOUR style. Relaxed, rocker, feminine or refined, you can customize any trend to fit your aesthetic.

Have a wonderful Fall!

I'm a Central Wisconsin girl born and raised. I grew up in Port Edwards and participated in cheerleading, basketball, volleyball and softball as well as many clubs like National Honor Society, SADD, yearbook and forensics. I was a very busy high school student and still managed to get good enough grades to go to college at UW-Stevens Point where I was just as busy between working 3 jobs including executive staff positions at the campus alternative rock radio station and volunteering at the campus television station.

After graduation I thought I would take my BA in Mass Communications with emphasis in Broadcasting and Journalism and Minor in Political Science and become a big time reporter in some major city. But instead my internship with our news station here at Midwest Communications turned into a part-time job and opened the door to the morning show co-host position at WDEZ. After 9 1/4 years of fun in the mornings I was promoted to Assistant Brand Manager and moved to The Workday Getaway.

I couldn't deny my love for rock anymore! It was time dive head first into the genre I spent my formative years listening to day in and day out. When the opportunity arose for me to become the Brand Manager for Rock 94.7 and host the morning show I couldn't pass it up.

I'm so happy that I stayed in Central Wisconsin I couldn't imagine raising my three daughters anywhere else.
