We've talked about System of a Down before releasing songs about war protest. Now we have a song by System of a Down that deals with existentialism! Great! Aerials was released in 2002 off of their 3rd album "Toxicity". The song was pretty successful, and went on to be nominated for Best Hard Rock Performance at the 2003 Grammy awards!
The songs message revolves around our mistaken views of ourselves, as being individual and isolated from the universe. How that we, as humankind, are something greater. How we should view death as not the end, but another step of existence!
