Can't knock the hustle: Weezer's Rivers Cuomo presenting at this week's Game Awards

Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo will shift his blessings from the rains to the games as a presenter at the 2018 Game Awards, held this Thursday, December 6.

According to the show's producer, Geoff Keighly , Cuomo, who previously performed with Weezer at the 2008 Game Awards, will be introducing the first live performance of "Devil Trigger," a song from the upcoming Devil May Cry 5 video game.

As its name suggests, the Game Awards honor the biggest and best video games of the year. The 2018 Game of the Year nominees are Assassin's Creed Odyssey , Celeste , God of War , Marvel's Spider-Man , Monster Hunter: World , and Red Dead Redemption 2 .

Meanwhile, Cuomo and Weezer are gearing up to release their next self-titled, color-themed project,  The Black Album . The new effort, featuring the lead single "Can't Knock the Hustle," is due out March 1.
