SHAWANO, WI (WSAU) -- A Christmas tree grower in Shawano County says up to 100 of his trees were stolen last weekend.
Dan Hanauer says he was with a customer on Monday when he noticed tracks in the new-fallen snow leading up to piles of trees that had been disturbed.
After investigating he found 75-100 trees were gone.
Shawano County Sheriff's officials are investigating the incident. Hanauer says the stolen inventory is worth almost $2,500.
