WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) -- Wausau School's Director of Human Resources and Employee Relations has resigned following a citation for soliciting prostitution
The Wausau School District released a statement Sunday morning saying that Dr. Michael Schwei sent in his letter of resignation on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018. His resignation was submitted following an investigation by the district for the citation he received from the Rothschild Police Department for soliciting prostitution.

Superintendent Keith Hilts accepted the resignation on Saturday. Dr. Schwei's resignation will become official on Monday evening when approved by the Board of Education.
The Wausau School District is seeking a new Director of Human Resources and Employee Relations with the resignation.
