WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) -- A local car wash gave out free washes to Veterans.
River View Car Wash Haus in Wausau celebrated Veterans day on Sunday by giving free car washes to Veterans.
Owner Lisa Pieczynski told WAOW-TV they give out free washes because, "We do it to give thanks to all the veterans for all they have done for us many of them are appreciative because some of them when they came back from Vietnam for example no on was happy to see them but we are always happy to see them."
Veterans were also able to get a ticket to have a free car wash at another time due to weekend weather conditions.
