WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) -- A Mosinee man accused of trying to bribe an officer with Postseason baseball tickets and cash to get out of an OWI has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.

Trinity Klasinski appeared in Marathon County court on Tuesday where a judge ordered him bound over for trial after he waived his right to a preliminary hearing. According to police, another driver called him in for driving erratically down Highway 51 in mid-October.

When officers caught up with him at a Rothschild gas station, he refused a field sobriety test and was taken to the hospital for a blood draw. Klasinski then reportedly offered either World Series Tickets or cash to the officer in exchange for being taken home without being arrested.

Online court records indicate Klasinski is not facing any charges of bribing an officer. He could face additional penalties for refusing the field sobriety test including a mandatory license suspension.

No further court action was immediately set.
