90s At 9 Did Perry Ferrell See the Future?

People thought Jane's Addiction front man, Perry Ferrell, was being dramatic, but based on what we're seeing now he may have accurately foretold the future.

Jane's Addiction released "Stop!" from their 1990 Ritual de lo Habitual album. The song reached number 1 on the U.S. Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart for two non-consecutive weeks.

The song was written in 1986 at which time lead singer, Perry Ferrell, was foretelling the future though people thought he was being a bit dramatic. The song is about environmental destruction and climate change caused by humans resulting in floods and natural disasters. Seeing what we're experiencing now I don't think anyone would say he was being dramatic.

Guitarist, Dave Navarro, steps in and takes the lead in this song with a killer guitar solo, which took the #20 spot on Guitar World's 2015 list of the greatest wah solos of all time.
