Y2Kessler: Apply Directly to the Forehead!

I could tell you all about the meaning behind Slipknot's 'Duality', The hit single off their 3rd studio album,  but I think Corey Taylor said it better himself.

“Duality” is about standing at the crossroads of your life, looking down both paths, and going, “Now what am I going to do? Did you ever get that headache that is just not going to go away, and you end up sticking your thumb and middle finger so far into your eyes, just to stop the pain? It usually has to do with making a choice. You get to that point in everyday life when you have to make a decision that you may not want to, but you’re kind of pushed into that position. "

Here's a couple more interesting bits of information about Duality that you can impress your friends with! Like the fact that the song contains zero explicit lyrics, making it the first Slipknot song to release to radio without requiring a clean version! In fact, the entire album is devoid of expletives! This album was also the first one released after Corey Taylor went sober, and Clown dawned his "Healing Mask"

The music video was shot in a fan's house in Iowa that was already due for a renovation. They invited real Slipknot fans to be in the video, and this resulted in Roadrunner Records paying $50,000 to cover the damages! You can see the extent of the Damage in the video, and it's insane! I wonder who owns the house now?
