RHINELANDER, WI (WSAU) -- A Green Bay man was charged with an OWI while driving with his three-month-old child in the car on New Years Day.

Dylan Dakota Lerdal, 23, was pulled over on Highway 51 in Oneida County for a speeding violation when the officer noticed signs of impairment. A search of the car turned up a small amount of marijuana.

A field sobriety test was conducted and officers determined Lerdal was under the influence of a restricted controlled substance. Charges against him include OWI with a passenger under 16 and possession of THC.

Another adult passenger was also in the vehicle at the time of the stop.

Court records indicate Lerdal has other pending cases against him in Brown County for domestic abuse and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
