WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (WSAU) -- A Wisconsin Rapids man will spend 15 years in prison for the death of his son.
James Georgeson age 33 was sentenced today for the 2017 death of his 15-month-old son. Georgeson will spend 15 years in a state prison for a charge of 2nd-Degree Reckless Homicide.
Georgeson beat his son after the child dropped a sippy cup in February of 2017.

He will also spend 10 years in extended supervision after his release.
