ALLOUEZ, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) - A new micro-brewery is coming to Allouez.

Village officials were at the old site of the Village Hall to break ground on the new Zambaldi Brewery.

This comes two years since co-owners David and Abigail Malcolm first sold a keg of Zambaldi beer.

Village officials were looking for just the right fit, and Zambaldi beer was it.

The Malcolms are happy that their project will also spark economic development in Allouez.

"It's been an incredible stroke of luck. We didn't know that when we were planning this, but if we can be, sort-of the north end of this brand-new development, I think we can help anybody down the way, and that'll help us bring in more people to the area, and we love this community, so we're excited to support it," said David Malcolm, Zambaldi Brewery co-owner.

The new brewery will feature a 2,000 square foot taproom, and an outdoor beer garden that holds 100 people.

The brewery will be located at 1649 South Webster Avenue, Green Bay, WI, 54301.
