STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) -- Former faculty and staff members of the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point say they have no confidence in the school's current leadership.
The group plans to hold a news conference Thursday afternoon, where they will release a statement calling on the Wisconsin Board of Regents to "[remove] top university administrators."
The cry is in response to the University's handling of recent proposals to eliminate academic programs in the face of declining enrollment and an $8 million budget shortfall. Officials from UWSP have not commented on the matter.
Thursday's news conference will be held in the Dreyfus University Center building at 1:30.
