NEILSVILLE, WI (WSAU-WAOW) -- A 34-year-old Granton father was sentenced following a raid at his home that found a methamphetamine lab in the basement.

WAOW-TV reports Jonathan Tuggle pled guilty to three felonies – being party to second-degree recklessly endangering safety, possession of meth precursors and knowingly possess meth waste – in a plea deal that dismissed seven other charges. The two drug convictions are repeat charges.

Tuggle’s wife, 37-year-old Elizabeth Tuggle, was also arrested in the June 28, 2017, raid and faced similar charges but was found dead of an apparent suicide on Feb. 22.

During the raid, investigators found two children, ages 8 and 11, in the home and a third child was not home at the time.

Tuggle was sentenced to 12 years in prison along with 10 years of extended supervision when he is released.
