This time around, we took a look at songs that had taken a long break from airplay on the station.
Was it time for them to come back, or should we leave them buried where we found them?
You waded through a LOT of songs and gave us a bunch of FANTASTIC information that will have a MAJOR IMPACT on how this station will sound over the next year.
Here's what we learned from the latest Rock 94.7 Illuminati Music Survey, aka The Big Boom Survey:
1) For the most part, you're not a huge fan of "classic rock". You're tired of it. It's burnt to a crisp.
However...
2) There are a couple of very select songs that you're very okay with. Exceptions to every rule, ya know? You'll know them when you hear them.
3) You got over whatever made you mad enough to kick Kid Rock off the station earlier this year. You're ready for him to come back in limited doses.

We'll see if his new country song and his upcoming run at the Senate helps or hinders him over the next year.
4) Older stuff by the usual suspects did just fine. Shinedown, A7X, 5FDP, Metallica & Volbeat each posted some very positive results. I almost NEVER hear complaints about us playing "too much" of these bands. I do hear complaints that we don't play enough of their older stuff. Consider a fix incoming.
