Rock Illuminati Results 9/25/2017

Here's what we learned from the latest Rock Illuminati Music Survey:

  • It was fun while it lasted, but the novelty of Royal Republic's "Baby" has worn off.
  • On the other hand, Theory of a Deadman's "RX" had a HUGE week.
  • Five Finger Death Punch, Stone Sour, and several other Sonic Boom artists held on strong, making this a must attend event!
  • I Prevail did great too!  This is good news as you'll have an opportunity to win tickets to see them with the next survey.

Here's your Top 10 from this week's survey:

10)  Five Finger Death Punch - "My Nemesis"

9)  All That Remains - "Madness"

8)  Five Finger Death Punch - "I Apologize"

7)  Korn - "Rotting in Vain"

6)  Disturbed - "Open Your Eyes"

5)  Ded - "Anti-Everything"

4)  Stone Sour - "Song #3"

3)  I Prevail - "Alone"

2)  Five Finger Death Punch - "Wash It All Away"

1)  Hellyeah - "Love Falls"

Congrats to Kim Graveen Manowski of Mosinee!  She scored a pair of 2 day passes to  Sonic Boom !

Another survey is ready to go, and as promised above, it has your tickets to see  I Prevail at The Sandlot in Green Bay on Friday, October 6th !

Let's see what you had to say about...

Powerman 5000 "Sid Vicious in a Dress" = SWEETEST!

This song went over HUGE when they played it at Northwoods Rock Rally!  Not surprised at its performance here.

We'll start this one off on The Nightmare, but I have a feeling it will graduate to the rest of the week before terribly long.

Stone Sour "Rose Red Violent Blue (The Song Is Dumb & So Am I)" = SWEET!

The sun rises in the East & sets in West.  The sky is blue.  Grass is green.  Stone Sour is crazy popular in the Illuminati.

Lumineers "Ophelia" = KINDA SOUR

I kind expected this to do worse.  Folky alt-rock usually bombs here.  This one did okay.  We'll confine it to The Buzz if we play it.

Architects "Doomsday" = KINDA SWEET

I friggin love this band, but I can see how this might be a bit much for the daytime crowd on Rock 94.7.  The harsher vox are a deal breaker for some.

For now, this will be Nightmare-only.

Stray From the Path "Goodnight Alt-Right" = SOUR

I like songs about punching Nazi scumbags, but I can see why most want an escape from yelling about political stuff.

There's a new batch of  Ear Candy up for your approval now.  Rate the songs SWEET or SOUR and let us know if they should hit the air!

As always, thanks for your participation, and thanks for listening!
