MADISON, WI (WSAU) -- A Kronenwetter man faces up to 20 years in prison after entering a guilty plea to charges of producing child pornography.

USA Today Wisconsin reports that Peter Jewell-Reigel admitted to meeting a 12-year-old girl from another state through the online role-playing game Wizard 101, then convincing her to send him nude photos of herself.

She reportedly sent three photos to him, then in August her mother found out about the exchange and contacted the FBI. From there they searched through records on the game's server and discovered that the mother's story matched.

The 20-year-old man told the judge that he had played the game in his younger years and recently picked it up again. He received a friend request from the girl and said their discussions quickly became sexually charged.

As part of the plea agreement, Jewell-Reigel cannot appeal the sentence if it's less than the maximum. A judge set sentencing in the case for March 7th.
