Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has laid out the timeline for the masked metallers' much-anticipated new album.

In a tweet, Taylor writes that the Knot will hit the studio to record the follow-up to 2014's .5: The Gray Chapter in January. "Album out middle of 2019," he adds.

Taylor previously said that the currently untitled album features one of the "heaviest" songs the band has ever written, while his band mate Shawn "Clown" Crahan recently revealed that the record will be about "evil vs. good."

This past Halloween, Slipknot dropped the first single from the album, "All Out Life." The band will launch a European tour in June.
