Weston Man Pleads "Not Guilty" in Heroin OD Death

WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) -- A Weston man has pled not guilty to 5 felony counts for the heroin OD of a Wausau man.

Shabaka Nubian-YI appeared in court on Monday afternoon with his attorney. Nubian-YI pled not guilty to charges of Reckless Homicide delivering Drugs, 2 counts of possessing heroin with intent to sell, and 2 counts of maintaining a drug trafficking place.

Nubian-YI is connected with the death of Ryan McClinton of Wausau. McClinton overdosed on a 10th of a gram of heroin in August at a friends home. He sold the heroin to Tonya Muzynoski, who then sold the drug to McClinton.

Nubian-YI will appear in court after his pre-trial conference.
