EAST TROY, WI (MetroSource-WSAU) - Investigators say they're putting together the pieces in the case of those bodies found in a burn pit in East Troy. Fox 6 reported Wednesday night that Walworth County prosecutors say the bodies are believed to be two of Matthew Neumann's workers, Richard Conklin and Robert Hajduk. They worked for Spot Free Cleaning, and hadn’t been seen since early January.
Neumann, who was in court for a preliminary hearing, is only charged with one death and hiding a corpse. DNA tests are still pending. No one is offering a motive, though prosecutors say more charges could be coming. He returns to court on January 30th.
Prosecutors say blood from the missing men was found in two different locations.
